The Apex 2 is designed to be used both indoors and outdoors, including in full sunlight for extended periods, and in hot or freezing environments (0 F to 120 F)(-17 C to 48 C)
The Apex 2 is also designed to be used in environments with some moisture and splashing, including light rain. It is not designed for use in heavy rain or any conditions where large amounts of water could enter the clutch housing.
However, the Apex 2 can be used under protective rain gear such as slickers and jackets to protect the clutch with no adverse effects.
